Nancy Campbell Gray of Elizabethton died surrounded by family on September 28, 2020.
She was born on March 27, 1949, in Elizabethton, TN. to the late William and Elizabeth Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Michael Campbell and the father of her children, Roy E. Hartley Sr.
Nancy was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother, she was an LPN since 1983, she loved her career as a nurse caring for many until an injury forced her to step down as a nurse.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children,
Daughters-Nancy Lynn Wilson (Mike), Sandra Grindstaff (Shannon), Michelle Hartley Shoun (David), Sons-Roy E. Hartley Jr.(Tracy) and Chris Hartley (Tracie).
Grandchildren-Elizabeth Grindstaff (Derek), Matthew Burrell
(Jessica),Nancy Marie Burrell (Lori), Michelle Nichols (Johnathan) Kirk Wright (Kendra), Roy E.Hartley III (Jessica), Hope, Cassie Vaughn (Josh), Reno Hartley, Tess Hartley, Jerry Gray III (Trae) and Tristan Gray.
Great Grandchildren-Shaylee and Jackson Grindstaff, Ashlynn and Jameson Burrell, Sage and James Nichols, Talia Hartley, Oliver Vaughn, Shaylee, Ashton and Abel Tittle.
Sisters-Bertha Price (Jerry), Becky Morton (Charlie) and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Nancy’s wishes were to have no service, the family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
