We need some grit in government
To the Editor:
Were Kat Hepburn alive and kicking, the unshaped cargo of mail-in votes would go out faster than a feminist could say Susan B. Anthony. No woman in the history of film with more grit than the fireball from Hartford, Katherine could create distance in a crowded phone booth.
Chin-deep in crisis, America needs to ruffle feathers in a room full of men with cold feet. The President of Privilege has done everything but give Russia an electoral vote.
To those on an economy high, what good is an economy without health? A robust election fuels wellness only when votes are counted, not hidden.
Athletes on the gridiron never quibble about armor — a face mask, a mouthpiece, a chin strap, or gaudy helmet with big letters. Be a good sport. Wear a mask and get over it.
