The first week for the Star Picking Panel was about as rough as it was for most football teams getting their first taste of football on the gridiron as Austin Alexander was the only panelist that seemed to be in tune with the teams finishing off the week with a strong 10-5 finish including being the only panelist to pick his alma mater, Daniel Boone, to beat Greeneville.
Nic Miller finished one game over .500 with an 8-7 week while Ivan Sanders and Allen LaMountain had dismal weeks with Sanders going 6-9 and LaMountain 5-10.
The panel is back at it this week as most teams are now in action locally and hopefully the panel will be back on track as well.
