Because of a lack of a local skating rink Dylan Marko, who is skating for the first time ever on roller blades, and Bess Allen have turned the tennis courts at Cat Island into their own rink. They brought their own music and are enjoying a cool August afternoon skating by themselves.
Like sands through the hourglass, the days are quickly passing us by on the year 2020 and like most people one talks to they can hardly wait to put this year behind and move forward to better days.
With recent rains, the temperature is beginning to fall back into a normal pattern and believe it or not it is just one month away until autumn begins in the Northern Hemisphere on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
Most local folks are looking forward to cooler temps as the school kids have started back and fall sports are back on track even under unique circumstances.
