Bobby Lee Edward Bice Jr., 49, Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 6, 2020, at his residence.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Bobby Lee Edward Bice Sr. and Ruby Markland Bice.
Bobby was a 1990 graduate of Hampton High School. He was employed as a Plumber’s Assistant.
Survivors include his sister, Sirena (Dennis) Bryer, Elizabethton; three nieces, Denise, Audrey and Hope Bryer; two nephews, Deltyn and William Bryer; and several cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, August 14, in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery with David Siebenaler, minister, officiating. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Friday, will be Will Bryer, Deltyn Bryer, Larry McKinney, Chris Flannery, Russell Kyte, Ronnie Ensor, Johnny Vines and Jimmy Wiseman. Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl Greer, Arvel McKinney, Daryl Bowers, Robert Taylor, Jeff McKinney, Arnold Vines, Vernon Vines, Roy Wilson, Benny Lyons, Ronnie Snavely, Howel Wiseman, Jerry Pearman, Teddy Vines, Eddie Fain and employees of Big John’s Closeouts. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Larry McKinney. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday.
