State of Franklin Healthcare, a leader in patient-centered care, announced
the addition of a brand new location to serve their growing patient base on Friday.

Primary Care of Elizabethton will open on August 3, 2020 and will serve Carter County
residents of all ages.
The new clinic will provide primary health care services such as annual physicals, medical
evaluations, laboratory services, specialty care referrals and immunizations.
In addition, the clinic will also serve as a walk-in clinic for minor illnesses and injuries
that don’t require an emergency room.
On-site x-ray services will also be available at this location.
Dr. Amanda Lingerfelt, an East Tennessee native, will serve as the lead physician for the
new location.
SOFHA’s new location is 314 Rogosin Drive in Elizabethton and will operate Monday through
Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Chamber of Commerce Board President David LeVeau stated, “We are excited to have
SOFHA come to Elizabethton to bring another excellent healthcare option to the people of
Carter County, especially in this time of need.
“We would like to thank SOFHA for selecting Elizabethton to expand in their healthcare
services outreach in the region.
“Our Chamber looks forward to working with Whitney Larkin (practice administrator), Dr. Lingerfelt
(lead physician) and the SOFHA team and welcomes them to the Elizabethton/Carter County
community,” LeVeau continued.
