Keith and Janice “Willette” Ericson of Elizabethton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
Keith and Willette were married at Calvary Baptist Church in Toccoa, Ga., on August 6, 1960. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Carl Norman Ericson, father of the groom. For their honeymoon, Keith and Willette went camping from Georgia to the Great Smoky Mountains, and along the Blue Ridge Parkway to Washington, D.C. They still enjoy camping and traveling to this day. Together they have visited more than 20 countries and every state capitol in the USA, except for Honolulu. We thank the Lord that the Ericsons have good health, great friends, a loving family, and wonderful memories together — 60 years and counting.
The couple are the parents of two children, Steve Ericson of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Pamela Egeler of Elizabethton.
They have two grandsons, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ericson is a retired Instructor and Chief Inspector at Moody Aviation.
Mrs. Ericson is a retired Educator with the Carter County School System for 30 years.
The Ericsons are thankful for good health, great friends, a loving family, and wonderful memories —60 years and counting.
