Robert L. “Bob” Fowler, 80, of Elizabethton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, July 10, 2020. He was the son of the late James and Gladys Isaacs Fowler.
Robert was a great husband, loving father; outgoing; travel wise (you could ask him anything about a local place and he would know all about it). He was a member of First Christian Church, Hattie Avenue. He was a 28-year employee of the Pepsi-Cola Company and 20 years in the Pigeon Forge Special Event Office. He served in the U.S. Army.
His hobbies and interests were ballroom dancing, camping and the Moe & Faye Travel Club. He loved music and roller skating with his daughter when she was young. He loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Fowler.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Fowler; daughter, Sharon Fowler Brown and husband Ernest Brown; grandson, Steven McMillan and fiancée Holly Fuller; granddaughter, Victoria Alley and husband Billy; four great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and a niece, Vanessa Fowler. Several other family and friends also survive.

A service to honor the life of Robert Fowler will be conducted 4 p.m. Monday, July 13, in the Chapel of Peace, Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. Michael Klaus, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 4 p.m. Monday at Tetrick Funeral Home. Military Honors to be accorded by the VFW Boone Dam 4933 following the funeral service Monday. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Ky. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to First Christian Church, 513 Hattie Avenue, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
