TCAT postpones graduation

TCAT — TCAT Elizabethton announced Thursday the postponement of in-person graduation ceremonies scheduled Aug. 13 in Seeger Chapel on the campus of Milligan University.
TCAT President Dean Blevins said there are still too many unknowns coping with COVID-19. “We are concerned with ensuring the safety of our college family, including faculty, staff and students.”
Blevins said TCAT Elizabethton is following COVID-19 health safety guidelines, including social distancing, increased sanitizing methods and the wearing of face coverings for on campus college activities.
“We are hopeful that we can reschedule an in person graduation ceremony later in the fall, and also possibly a virtual graduation celebration in the immediate future,” Blevins added.
