COVID-19 cases in Tennessee surpass 10,000

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tennessee has now surpassed 10,000.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 10,052 on April 28. There are now 4,921 recovered patients.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 188, with 894 hospitalizations.
A total of 161,928 tests have been conducted in the state as of now.
For Carter County, there have now been 11 confirmed cases. Six cases are recovered, and one has died.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you continue practicing proper hygiene, including handwashing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and follow social distancing guidelines.
