Celebrating Seniors… Star Sports honoring spring sports seniors

Photo Contributed by Holly Absher Happy Valley High School's Jake Absher. Absher is the son of Larry & Holly Absher and the brother of Olivia Absher. In baseball, Absher was a four-year starter earning 2018 All-Conference Honorable mention, 2019 All Conference Honorable mention, and led East Tennessee in stolen bases in 2019. Absher is a member of the Spanish Honors Society and National Honors Society. He participates in Dual Enrollment receiving college credit and plans on attending ETSU in the fall of 2020 to obtain a degree in Engineering.
      Today is Star Sports first installment of celebrating senior athletes who have had their season abruptly ended after only getting to participate in two to three games.
     We encourage all coaches, parents, and guardians to submit a photo of your spring sport senior with name, awards, and accolades and family members so we can acknowledge their contributions to their school and communities.
