COVID-19 cases rise in Tennessee and Carter County

The number of COVID-19 cases in Tennessee has now reached 3,067 as of April 3. The number of cases in Carter County has risen to three.
In addition to Carter County, local cases include 20 in Washington County, 18 in Sullivan County, 16 in Greene County, eight in Hawkins County, two in Johnson County and one in Unicoi County.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 37, with 293 hospitalizations. There are now 248 recovered patients.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you follow proper hygiene, including hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and continuing to practice social distancing.
