Turning on the lights… Full day scheduled Saturday for Hampton baseball

Saturday is a big day for the Hampton baseball team as the day gets kicked off with a Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run event for ages 7 to 14.
Participants much register online before the event which begins at 12 noon at Scotty Bunton Field at Hampton High School.
Following the event for the kids, former Hampton alumni will gather for a Home Run Derby, throwing accuracy, and running competition which starts at 4 pm that afternoon.
Hampton will be celebrating their recently installed baseball lights with a short ceremony at 5:30 pm. Then history will be made immediately following as the first baseball game under lights will take place in the Bulldog Alumni Baseball Game.
The first pitch for the Alumni Game will be at 6 pm. If interested in playing, the cost is $25 per player.
Admission to the first game under the lights will be $2.00 for anyone over five-years-old.
Everyone is invited to come help celebrate this monumental day for Hampton baseball.
