Terry Lynn Mottern

Terry Lynn Mottern, 76, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Cecil Lacy and Lois Theresa Cole Mottern.
Terry was a 1961 graduate of Elizabethton High School and served in the United States Navy. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Terry loved to fish.
Survivors include his children, Chevelle (Glenn) Parks, Knoxville, and Camara Paterek, Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Noah Parks and Bailey Parks; one brother, Tony (Marion) Mottern, Watauga; and one sister, Linda Mottern, Watauga.
It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Mottern family.
