Richard Joe Casey

Richard Joe Casey, 87, Butler, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness.
He was born in Hampton, Tenn., to the late Charles Edward and Mona McNeil Casey.
Joe attended Watauga Academy in Butler and graduated from Hampton High School in 1950. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After retirement from Akron Trailer Manufacturing, Akron, Ohio, he and his wife moved back to Butler, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife, Eulee Clark Casey, and his children, Charles E. (Dorothy) Casey, Elizabeth A. (Brian) Richardson and James R. (Robin) Casey. Also left to cherish his memory are his beloved grandchildren, Joseph (Jodi) Casey, Jodi Casey, Mallory Taylor and Kylee Anders; his sister, Wanette (Dallas) Odom; sister-in-law, Deloris Sneed; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Richard Joe Casey will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 29, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Shane Whittemore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., prior to the service. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff of James H.
