CONTRIBUTED — Life Care Center of Elizabethton, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, recently achieved a deficiency-free state survey.
To pass the state survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. These address not only nursing care and resident safety, but also patient’s rights, food services and administration. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
“Earning a deficiency-free survey tells people that we really care,” said Angi Bradnan, executive director. “We take our responsibility of providing quality care very seriously.”
This survey was conducted from Dec. 8-10, 2019.
“I’m so proud of my team, and I think it is great to have all their hard work recognized in this way,” said Bradnan.
