No one was in the home when the fire started, and no serious injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

Smoke from the fire billowed out into neighboring homes and into the countryside. Officials said they were able to keep the fire contained to the one mobile home.

Officials responded to a fire on Garrison Hollow Road in Valley Forge early Friday morning. The home is a total loss accoridng to the fire department.
Smoke flowed out of a mobile home on Garrison Hollow Road in Carter County at around 8 a.m. Friday, with the Hampton Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Department and Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department soon arriving on the scene.
Officials reported one individual was at the home, but no serious injuries were reported. According to Facebook posts by the Hampton Valley Forge Fire Department, while there were no injuries, the public was advised to steer clear of the area as they worked.
“The wind was crazy out there, everything fell into place perfect […] we had a really quick response and everyone involved did an excellent job,” they said.
