CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Lower Shell Creek Christian Church.
The service will feature singing, led by Don Brandon, worship leader, and preaching by Craig Layfield, minister at Gap Creek Christian Church. His focus will be on 2020 – Our Vision in Christ.
All men are invited to attend a great night of fellowship and worship.
Lower Shell Creek Christian is located at 8726 Highway 19E, Roan Mountain.

First Christian
Minister Mike Klaus will continue his sermon series “Believe, Belong, Build” at Sunday morning worship Jan. 19 at First Christian Church, Elizabethton.
Worship begins at 9:45 a.m. Sunday School follows at 11 a.m.
Sunday and Wednesday evening services are at 6 p.m.
Youth and children’s ministries are available for each service.
The church is located at 513 Hattie Ave.

First United Methodist
“Are You A Fireproof Christian?” is the theme for the Sunday sermon Jan. 19 at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, at the morning worship service.
The service begins at 9:55 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Both groups will meet in the 4:12 Ministries House.
The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Also, Life Lessons will be taught in the church fellowship hall at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The pastor is the Rev. Raymond W. Amos, who with the congregation invite the public to attend the worship services.

Roan Street Free Will
The Knight Family will present special singing Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
At 6 p.m. Adam Miller will present the message.
Roan Street Free Will is located at 820 N. Roan St.
Everyone is invited to attend both Sunday services.

Unaka Baptist
An All You Can Eat Fish Fry will be held this evening from to 5 to 7 o’clock at Unaka Baptist Church.
The menu will include fish and chicken, cole slaw, baked potatoes, hush puppies, and dessert. The cost is $10.
Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the food and fellowship.

First Presbyterian
Carmie Cuda, M. Div. candidate at Emmanuel Christian Seminary, is the guest speaker at the morning service Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. The theme of the message is “A Call to Listen,” based on John 1: 29-41.
The service begins at 11 a.m.
An Education Hour for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday; Exercise Class from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 W. F St.
Dr. Brian Wyatt is pastor, and invites the public to attend.
