First Presbyterian
The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will deliver the sermon Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. His sermon “Seasonal Epiphanies” is based on the scripture John 1: 1-14.
An education hour will be held at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Group Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon; Exercise Class from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and Yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 W. F St.

Watauga Valley
Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church will have a special service Sunday at 11 a.m. when a dedication service will be held for little Addison Grace Nunley. The proud parents are Nick and Stormy Nunley.
The pastor, the Rev. Bill Greer, will conduct the service.
Everyone is welcome.
Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist is located on Highway 91 just above Unaka High School.

Watauga Baptist Music School
Plans are being made by the Watauga Association of Baptists for this year’s music school, which will be held Feb. 10, 11, 13 and 14 at Grace Baptist Church.
The music school will be held each evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature the cantata “Is He Worthy?” by Russell Mauldin.
Choral books, listening and rehearsal CDs, and split-track accompaniment CDs are available at the association office.
The school will be directed by TBC Worship Specialist Scott Shepherd.

First United Methodist
The pastor, the Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr., will present the message “Yes! I Believe” Sunday at the 9:55 a.m. worship service. The sermon is based on the scripture Ezk. 37: 1-14.
Following the worship service, Sunday School will be held at 11:20 a.m.
The Junior High 4:12 Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m.; the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Sunday; and the Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Wednesday evening Life Lessons will be held at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
The public is invited to all services.
