Jonesborough Church Tour scheduled Saturday

Jonesborough wraps up it’s Christmas in Olde Jonesborough series Saturday, December 21, with the Christmas Church Tour. Visitors can stroll through the historic district and step inside some of the town’s most beloved buildings, its churches.

Four churches are on the tour and they include: Central Christian Church, First Baptist Church, Jonesborough Presbyterian, and Jonesborough United Methodist.

The churches will showcase their beautiful sanctuaries, all decorated for the Christmas season. They will also be offering music provided by their choirs, a handbell performance, refreshments and more.

Visitors can also learn about the history of the buildings as each church will also offer a guide at to give the church’s history. The stroll is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. A schedule of activities can be picked up at the International Storytelling Center.
