So many times it happens too fast.
After playing a close first half of basketball and trailing by one at the half, Coach Jason Hartley pulled his Keenburg Tigers together and outscored Hunter 11-1 to build a lead that would last the rest of the game.
Noah Gill burned the nets for 18 points leading the Keenburg Tigers to a 38-26 win.
The orange and black Tigers jumped out in front after one 10-8.  Outsized, with his big man injured, Coach Jeff Peters had to count on his sixth and seventh man to keep the game close.
Matthew Stines nailed a three for Hunter as they outscored Keenburg 9-6 to take a one-point lead at the half 17-16.

Gill scored six of his points in the third holding Hunter to only one point as his team added eleven more in the final period to Hunters eight for the win. It was the Tiger’s seventh win of the season.
“I’m proud of our boys, it was a great team effort tonight,” stated Hartley. “We were really excited to get a win against Hunter, they always play us tough.
“We had a slow first half but the boys played much better in the second and brought home the victory,” said Hartley.
Hunter was led by Mason Wilson, Matthew Stines, and Brynin Repass all scoring five points each.
In the girl’s action, Hunter was just to fast for the Keenburg Lady Tigers.
Julie Tolley led Hunter with 14 points en route to a 36-6 win. Coach Pearson Tigers wasted no time in jumping out to a 14-2 lead.
His full-court press was very effective forcing Keenburg to commit turnovers.  His team also hauled down most of the rebounds and forced
their opponents to shoot outside.
Emma Taylor was the second-highest scorer for Hunter with eight points. Nance, Duggar, and Burgess all scored a basket for Keenburg.
