My Inspirational Person

Inspiration is being mentally and physically motivated to better something in different ways. When you have an inspirational person in your life, that person inspires you in different ways. The inspirational person in my life is my grandmother, Gladys Gilispie. Gladys inspires me in numerous ways. She is a person one can always go to no matter the situation. She is immensely active in the lives of countless people. One can call her no matter what time it is and she will stop what she is doing and come to assist. Gladys is also active in her church; she loves to praise the Lord on Sundays after a long week.

Gladys works in the medical field. This work allows her to fulfill her calling to care for others in this world. Gladys loves helping her patients, family, friends, community, and church family. She demonstrates her selflessness in participating in many functions within the community. She would give someone her last dime, shirt from her back, or her last breath. Gladys always has a positive attitude. A friend could call her on her worst day and ask for something, and she would not hesitate to help that friend. I always tell her when I grow up, I hope my attitude reflects her attitude. There’s almost never a time one does not see a smile on her face.

Gladys is so supportive and makes dreams come true for everyone, especially her grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren never need or want for anything. She is the best support system anyone could have and she is an excellent listener when people come to her with concerns or issues. Gladys is such an amazing individual to be around. She has such an electric personality and a great sense of humor. She is the type of person one can connect with easily and always want to be around. Her love knows no bounds.
