My Hero

My hero, my inspiration, my mentor, my blessing, and my motivator is my mother. Heather is not only the smartest woman I know, but she is the strongest. She consistently puts others before herself, without hesitation. With a smile, she is a woman who carries her heart on her sleeve and the world on her shoulders. Heather has always been the best she could be for her family, and when times get rough, one can never find her saying she can’t do it. My mother never ceases to amaze me day in and day out. I feel as though no words could simply portray how astounding Heather truly is. Without a cape and superhuman powers, my mom is a superhero. Heather is an area manager of the medical facilities in detention centers, which takes a lot of work. She has to travel most days, which means when she is home, the time we share is sacredly valued. I could not possibly be happier with the accomplishments my mother has made throughout the years. Being a mother is not easy; however, she always tries her hardest to be the best she can be. For fifteen years she has been my rock and my best friend. On this crazy roller coaster called life, I’m proud to call Heather my very own mother, and I love her beyond measure.
