Members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 49 filled 88 gift bags for the Veterans in the seven nursing homes in Carter County. It is always a pleasure for the ladies of the Auxiliary to deliver gift bags. Our Veterans earned our thanks and respect for the time and service they proudly gave our country. When you see a Veteran, please give him or her a smile and a thank you.
