FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Unaka Ranger football season came to a screeching halt Friday night on the road at Greenback as the Cherokees who feature several Division 1 collegiate prospects defeated the boys from Stoney Creek, 51-6.
Unaka knew going in that it was going to be a David and Goliath type of contest and the much larger Cherokees dominated early to build the big lead and then cruised to the win. The Rangers finished with a 2-9 record.
Congratulations to the Unaka Ranger players, coaches, and cheerleaders on representing Carter County well in 2019.
