Local veterans tour Mountain Home National Cemetery

Mountain Home National Cemetery partners with local funeral homes to provide information to area veterans. On October 16, Tetrick Funeral Home provided a bus to veterans interested in learning more about our National Cemetery. They were treated to a tour of the cemetery and lunch was provided by Tetrick.

James Barger from the National Cemetery provided a history of the cemetery and information on veteran burial benefits for the group. VA is always looking for ways to provide information to local veterans.

A Town Hall meeting is scheduled for November 6 in the conference center at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. More information on the Town Hall can be found at:  https://www.facebook.com/events/397274677633911/
