The Cloudland High School Cheerleaders have a big night on hand tonight as they will be cheering on their Highlanders loud and proud as Cloudland looks to get a little payback when the Hampton Bulldogs come calling at Orr Field at 7 pm.
It will be the second meeting of the season between the two schools as Hampton won convincingly in the first encounter at Hampton. It is also a special night as it is Homecoming 2019 in Roan Mountain.
In other local games, the Happy Valley Warriors get back into action after their bye week as they host the Johnson County Longhorns on Warrior Hill at 7 pm.
The Warriors are playing sound football and look to keep up their defensive dominance against the visiting ‘Horns.
Elizabethton makes it second trek in as many weeks to the Knoxville area as the Cyclones travel to the Maynardville area to take on Union County. The Cyclones are coming off a tough 31-17 win over William Blount where the boys from ‘Betsy had to rally late in the fourth quarter for the win.
