Marion E. Baker More

On September 25, 2019, Marion E. Baker More, 76, of Elizabethton, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Marion was born on April 30, 1943 in Syracuse, N.Y., to the late Kenneth and Ella Baker. Marion resided in Liverpool, N.Y., most of her life and then relocated to Elizabethton, Tenn., in 2014.
Marion loved spending time with her family and enjoyed crafting and making gifts for everyone. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for many years.
Marion was pre-deceased by her sister, Ella Margaret, and her daughter, Kelly More, in 2018.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ralph More; her daughter, Robin (Lorton) Wellnitz of Elizabethton, Tenn.; three grandsons, Jason Woodhouse of Lowville, N.Y., Michael (Madison) Pastella and Deven (Stephanie) Pastella of Elizabethton, Tenn.; and three granddaughters, Desiree (David) Bacon of Pulaski, N.Y., and Adrianna and Bethany Wellnitz of Elizabethton, Tenn. She also has four great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, September 30, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Alan King officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
