The 15th Annual ETCHA (East Tennessee Christian Home and Academy) Golf Tournament/ William “Scott” Ramsey Memorial was recently played with 80 golfers hitting the links to raise money.

By the time the last golfer putted out, the tournament had raised over $24,000 with help from major sponsors like Ron Ramsey, Trinity Granite and Marble, James Crouch Garage Service, and the Elizabethton Chick Fil A.

The team of Jerry Wilson and Mary Blackman won the mixed division with a 69 but wanted to recognize the excellent play of the father-daughter team of Keith and Kara Crestinger. Kara is seven-years-old.

“This has become one of the most popular tournaments in this area,” said Ron Marvel, ETCHA Director of Development. “We often fill up quickly and we couldn’t do any of this without our wonderful sponsors and volunteers.

“All of the money raised will go directly to children and families in the community that are in need.
