ETSU Office of Professional Development announces courses in health care professions

JOHNSON CITY — East Tennessee State University’s Office of Professional Development will offer three courses related to health care professions in the coming months.
The courses include:
• Clinical Medical Assistant Course, beginning August 5, 2019;
• Computed Tomography (CT) Program for Radiology, beginning August 15, 2019; and
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Prep Course, beginning September 3, 2019.
These health care professional programs are Workforce Development programs and are eligible for Workforce Development Assistance through the state. The hourly wages for careers in these fields range from $15-25.
The courses are non-credit and are open to the general public. The CT Program requires a bachelor’s degree for admittance.
