The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:

Wayne Maraiszowski, 34, 112 South Watauga Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested July 22 by Deputy Cory Locklear on an active warrant for violation of probation.

Gary Carden, 55, 2278 Hwy. 91, Elizabethton, was arrested July 22 by Deputy Cory Locklear on an active warrant for failure to appear.

Jerry Ramsey, 20, 119 Dennis Cove Road, Hampton, was arrested July 22 by Deputy Adam Taylor on a warrant for aggravated assault.

Johnny Glass Jr., 29, no address given, was arrested July 22 by Deputy Josh Peters for possession of Schedule III for resale, possession of Schedule IV for resale, possession of Schedule VI for resale, DUI (first offense), violation of implied consent and introduction of contraband into a penal facility.

William Burrow, 51, 130 Heaton Hollow Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested July 23 by Deputy Robert Scott on warrants for failure to appear.

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department: 

Robert Whitehead, 36, 215 Bear Branch Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested July 10 by EPD Officer Jesse Richardson on a warrant for fugitive from justice.

Misty Chambers, 46, 1487 Southside Road, Elizabethton, was arrested July 16 by EPD Officer James Stevens on warrants for failure to appear and violation of probation.

Carolyn Moorer, 32, 214 West H St., Elizabethton, was arrested July 16 by EPD Officer David Johnson on an active warrant for violation of probation.

David Johnson, 33, 214 West H St., Elizabethton, was arrested July 16 by EPD Officer David Johnson on active warrants for violation of probation.

Mindy Ingram-Buckles, 35, 105 West I St., Elizabethton, was arrested July 17 by EPD Officer Justin Pearce for DUI (third offense).

Joni Perry, 29, 369 Garrison Hollow Road, Elizabethton, was arrested July 18 by EPD Officer David Johnson on an active warrant for failure to serve jail time.

Jeffery Hammonds, 26, 121 Sunny View Court, Johnson City, was arrested July 18 by EPD Officer David Johnson for DUI (first offense), driving without a license and failure to comply with financial responsibility.

Joseph Nickles, 45, 191 Norman Joines Road, Elizabethton, was arrested July 19 by EPD Officer Jason Mosier on warrants for violation of probation.

Wendy Asbury, 46, 1263 Bluefield Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested July 19 by EPD Officer Kenny Lowe on active warrants for violation of probation and failure to appear.

Johnny Clawson, 37, 625 Johnson Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested July 20 by EPD Captain Anthony Buck for possession of stolen property over $2,000, no motorcycle license, violation of financial responsibility and violation of traffic control device.

Justice Godsey, 25, 1249 Bluefield Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested July 21 by EPD Officer Kenny Lowe on a warrant for violation of probation.
