Allan Keith Minton

Allan Keith Minton, 56, of Johnson City, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2019, at the residence of his mother in Elizabethton. Allan was born in Elizabethton, Tenn., to Vickie “Penny” Penrod Welborn Minton of Elizabethton and the late Wallace Henry Minton.
Allan had served as the director of operations at the ACT Call Center and loved reading books, watching sports and going to concerts.
Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, include his wife, Gretchen Minton; a daughter, Lilly Minton of Piney Flats, Tenn.; a sister, Kristy Minton of Elizabethton, Tenn.; and a nephew, Rich Minton of Elizabethton, Tenn. Numerous cousins also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Allan Keith Minton will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Raymond Amos Sr. officiating. Music will be provided by John Bunn. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, prior to the service, or at the residence of his mother at other times. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice for the loving care shown to Allan during his illness.
