Just as Elizabethton resident Jeff Campbell remembered the sacrifices of the men and women in the military by participating in reenactments of the Normandy Invasion this week in France, so does the monument outside the Carter County Courthouse remember the sacrifices of all men and women who have served their country with its presence, from the Revolutionary War down to the present day.
