Mrs. Clark was raised by her grandparents until she was married to Billy E. Clark Sr. Later in life she became an EMS worker until an accident disabled her. She then turned all her time and attention to taking care of others as an in home health care assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Clark Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Clark Jr., Limestone, and Danny Clark, Chuckey; one daughter, Jannetta Self, Norfolk, Va.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Lipps, Elizabethton, and Margaret McKinney, Johnson City; two brothers, Carl Tolley Jr., Hampton, and Richard Tolley, Greeneville.
She was also guilty of indulging in many long conversations often with strangers about their family, their past, and their hopes for their future. Many times she was not only a grandmother, she was a nurse, a therapist, a Mom, a dad, a cheerleader and a best friend.
