Elizabethton set to host a pair of camps

With the school year winding down, a couple of camps are quickly approaching for area youth at Elizabethton High School.

Coach Lucas Honeycutt has announced his 2019 Future Cyclones Basketball Camp which will be held May 30th through June 1st inside A.L John Treadway Gymnasium.

The camp is for boys ages five to 14 regardless of the child’s skill level and will kick off with early-bird shooting from 7:45 to 9 am and the camp runs daily from 9 am to no one.

Instruction will be provided by the Cyclones boys’ basketball staff with both one-on-one instruction as well as group instruction.

Campers will have snacks provided with guest speakers. The cost is $40 per camper or if there are siblings, the cost will be $30 per camper.

Junior Cyclone Volleyball Camp

Cyclone volleyball head coach Leslee Bradley will be holding the Junior Cyclone Volleyball Camp beginning June 4th and running through June 6th.

The camp starts at 9 am and runs to 11:30 am each day and is for grades third through sixth. There will be beginner to intermediate instruction with skills and team play.

Cost for the camp will be $40 or $30 per sibling. Registration is available online or walk-in.

The camp will be hosted by the EHS Volleyball team and the coaching staff.
