Career Day at Central Elementary School

On May 8, Central Elementary School in Carter County was the place to be to learn about all kinds of intriguing jobs during Career Day, 2019. Dr. Dawn Taylor, coordinator of the event, said 17 different presenters provided a wealth of information throughout the day about many interesting career choices. All students and their teachers from every grade filed excitedly in the gym during morning and afternoon sessions to listen attentively to each of the guest speakers.
Dr. Taylor said, “The students absolutely loved the presenters and learning about everything from biking to transportation planning to respiratory therapy to playing in a band. What a fabulous day at Central! We cannot wait for next year!”
