The Cloudland Highlanders are putting together some good baseball at the right time as the Highlanders came from behind impressively to overtake the Hancock Co. Indians by a 12-7 final.
Cloudland was trailing 7-4 heading into the top of the seventh inning but came storming back with eight runs in the inning to pull victory out of the hands of defeat.
Hancock Co. was a generous host as five walks, three hit batters, and two singles helped aid the Highlander comeback in the decisive inning.
Josh Stevens, Dillon Johnson, and Brayden Christman led the Highlander attack with two hits apiece in the contest.
Cloudland also got a base hit each from Jordan Isaacs and Damian Black in the ‘Landers eight-hit attack.
Christman notched the win from the hill allowing four runs on three hits and recording six strikeouts.
Collin Morgan was charged with three runs in the contest as the other Cloudland pitcher of record.
