To the Editor:
We at ARM Food Pantry would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank those who made the ARM Extravaganza such a success. I would like to thank WJHL, WBEJ, the Elizabethton Star, those who put posters in their public places, those who published the information in their church newsletters and bulletins, and those who spread the word by social media. We could not have had the attendance we did without you.
I would also like to thank Borderview Christian Church for hosting and planning the event. We were so touched and astounded by the passion they showed for ARM and the enthusiasm that continued throughout the event.
What joy we felt as we listened to the ETSU Mandolin Orchestra and Lifted perform! We are so thankful to both groups for donating their time and talent to the ARM Extravaganza! Without you, it would not have been the extravaganza that it was.
Finally, we give our heartfelt thanks to those who attended the concert. You gave $4,811.00 to ARM that evening. I have never seen collection plates piled that high. Again, thank-you. Please be assured that we will use your money wisely to feed and clothe those who are in need.
