Cove Creek
No Name But His will present special singing Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at Cove Creek Community Church, Roan Mountain.

Grace Baptist
“One Day,” an Easter cantata, will be presented by the Grace Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir Sunday at the 9 a.m. service.
Also, an Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 19, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the church, 1114 Broad Street Ext. The hunt is for children, ages one through sixth grade, and is open to the public.
A missions yard sale will be will held Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the church. Money from the event will be used for mission trips and projects and to support missionaries.

Pinecrest Baptist
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 20, at Pinecrest Baptist Church from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
All children in the community are invited.
First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will continue his sermon series “RESCUE, How God Rescues Us: The Palm Branch” Sunday at the 9:45 a.m. service at First Christian Church, Elizabethton.
David Mills will lead worship and Eric Dunlap will have the communion meditation. Lorrie Case will have the morning scripture and Leslie Brockley will provide special music.
Bible study will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. with choir practice to follow.

Unaka Baptist
The Brotherhood of Unaka Baptist Church will have a country-style breakfast Saturday between 7 and 10 a.m.
The menu will include biscuits, gravy, eggs, two kinds of sausages, bacon, and hash brown potatoes. Other items are available on request.
The cost is $7.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy the food and fellowship.
Caldwell Springs
The WMU of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church will sponsor a bake sale Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall, located at 1509 Blue Springs Road.
Proceeds will benefit a mission trip to Africa this summer.
Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church, 1765 Highway 91, Stoney Creek, will have a community-wide Good Friday service at 6 p.m. April 19. Communion will be observed.

Borderview
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, Elizabethton, plans several events during the Easter season. Good Friday services are planned for Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m. during which Christ’s Last Sayings from the Cross will be examined, followed by the Adult Choir Ministry’s musical “Champion of Love.”
Saturday at 11 a.m. the church in the community are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt and cakewalk in addition to a hotdog lunch.
Easter Sunday at 10:45 a.m., the Resurrection of Christ will be celebrated with a repeat of the “Champion of Love.”
The public is cordially invited to attend these and all services.

Maranatha Tabernacle
Maranatha Tabernacle, Unicoi, will present its Easter Opry Celebration Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, at 6 p.m.

Riverview Baptist Church will host a revival with Evangelist Rick Coram April 14-17.
The Sunday services will begin at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday services will begin at 7 p.m.

Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church, 1982 Gap Creek Road, will present its annual Easter drama “No Greater Love” this evening at 7 o’clock, and again Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m.

First United Methodist
“A Shouting Place Along The Highway” is the theme of Sunday’s sermon at First United Methodist Church, 325 E. E St.
Based on Luke 19:28-40, Pastor Raymond Amos in explaining the sermon theme said, “There is a place where it finally hits us: what the Lord has done.”
Morning worship begins at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:14 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:14 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. The Coolagers meet Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Wednesday Evening Life Lessons will be taught at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the church fellowship hall.

Nazarene Church
Revival continues at the First Church of the Nazarene, Elizabethton.
The guest speaker for the series of services is Pastor Sherman Reed.
Services today and Saturday will begin at 7 p.m., and the Sunday service is at 10:45 a.m.
A community Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 20 at 2 p.m. In addition to the egg hunt, there will also be crafts.

Jonesborough U-M
The Sisters of Faith of the Jonesborough United Methodist Women will host their annual bazaar, bake sale, and silent auction Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Over 24 artists and craftsmen will be featured.
Texas Burritos and others will be on site with lots of great food. Entertainment will be provided by Lightnin’ Charlie.
There is no admission, but those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Jonesborough Area Ministerial Association Food Bank.
The church is located at 211 W. Main St., Jonesborough.
Willow Springs
The adult choir of Willow Springs Baptist Church will present the Easter cantata, “One Day,” on Easter Sunday, April 21, at 11 a.m. The choir director is Bobby Smith.
Everyone is invited.
There will be no evening service.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church of Elizabethton. His message is titled “Reconciling Atonement” with excerpts from II Corinthians 8: 18-20.
An Education Hour will be held at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday; Exercise Class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
