Blue Springs Road crash results in fatality

The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated a crash Thursday morning on Blue Springs Road.
Trooper Timothy Salling reported the vehicle, a 2008 Mustang, was traveling westbound on Blue Springs Road when it lost control during a turn, overturning into a ditch and killing the driver.
The report said the driver, 62-year-old James Buckles, was trapped under the collapsed roof of the car while the occupant compartment of the car was submerged in the creek.
Police have filed no charges at this time. They said they found no evidence of drugs or alcohol in the vehicle.
