Clella Mae Burchfield Grindstaff

Clella Mae Burchfield Grindstaff, 73, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1945 in Robbinsville, N.C., to the late Sam and Effie Prince Burchfield.
Clella was a graduate of Mountain View High School in North Carolina. She had lived in Elizabethton since 1965. She was a retired beautician and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Renee Grindstaff, and a brother, Kenneth Burchfield.
Survivors include her daughters, Amie Grindstaff Markland (Jeff) and Renee Grindstaff Mullins (Adam), all of Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Landon Pearson, Stephanie Pearson, Adam Mullins, Chandlor Mullins and Zeth Mullins; her siblings, Barbara Self, Axielee Garland, Geter Burchfield and Nettie Cable; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Tanya Rhea.
Funeral services for Clella Mae Burchfield Grindstaff will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Potter officiating.
