Bible prophecy signs in East Tennessee

To the Editor:
It’s great more people go to church at Christmas. The Bible says not to forsake going to church especially as you see the day (return of Jesus) drawing near. (Hebrews 10) So this verse says we can know when the return of Jesus is near. Jesus tells us in Luke 21 that Israel would be scattered into all nations and Jerusalem would be under gentile control until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled. Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948 and retook Jerusalem on June 7, 1967. Jesus says, “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your head, for your redemption (rapture) draweth nigh.” Jesus warns us His return is imminent after these events happen. We are the final generation!
In Matthew 24:7 Jesus says, “earthquakes in diver (diverse) places is a sign of His soon return. East Tennessee just got hit by 4.4 and 3.3 earthquakes. www.prophecywatchers.com said Brent Miller Sr. studied all the 6.4 and higher earthquakes over the last 100 years and found that they have skyrocketed just as the Bible said they would. Hebrews 12 says at the end times God is sending a shaking. The shaking is to awake people to the fact that time is running out. Some prophecy experts say we will have power outage, nuclear war and a pole shift during the tribulation. The Day of the Lord (tribulation) is first mentioned in Isaiah 2. It’s the day when God shakes terribly the earth. When man shall be humbled and brought low and when God alone shall be exalted!
I like to hear people say “Merry Christmas” not “Happy Holidays.” Some people always try to keep Jesus Christ out of Christmas and out of their lives forever but this will prove impossible. Because one day soon they as well as the whole earth will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Make today your day of salvation. Bow and invite Jesus to be your Savior and Lord. Call 1-888-need-him. Jesus won’t wait for your invitation forever. After you are saved the snow we have in East Tennessee can remind you of Isaiah 1. “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow!”
At Christmas we celebrate Jesus coming as He promised. At Good Friday and Easter we celebrate Jesus dying for our sin and rising again as He promised. Jesus kept His word. Jesus now promises to come and reign for 1000 years after the seven-year tribulation and you may be sure He will keep His word. Jesus doesn’t wait for invitations to come. Whenever He chooses to come, Jesus will crash the party!
