Calvary Baptist
Revival will be held at Calvary Baptist Church (above Roan Mountain State Park) July 15-18. Services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
The revival speaker is the Rev. Daniel Lawrence.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Unaka Baptist
The Brotherhood at Unaka Baptist Church will have a country-style breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
The menu will include biscuits and gravy, eggs, two kinds of sausage, bacon, and hash brown potatoes. Other items are available on request.
The cost is $7 with proceeds going to the church building fund.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy the food and fellowship.
First Presbyterian
The Rev. David Prentice-Hyers will be guest speaker for the Sunday morning worship service July 15 at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. The service begins at 11 a.m.
An Education Hour for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday. The group is currently reading Elizabeth Catte’s “What You Are Getting Wrong About Appalachia.”
Yoga is Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

First Christian
Building Fund Sunday will be observed Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton, when an offering will be received for future building needs.
Morning worship will begin at 9:45 a.m. with Minister Michael Klaus preaching. Dr. David Mill will serve as worship leader. The communion meditation will be given by Paula Manning. Rachel Dunlap will read scripture and Cassidy Stover will present special music.
Bible school classes will meet at 11 a.m.
The evening service will feature the Watauga Singers from Sycamore Shoals State Park.
The Tuesday Morning Prayer Group led by John Smith will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The Wednesday evening Bible study will be held at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

First Methodist
“Who In The World Are You Listening To?” is the title of the Sunday morning sermon at First United Methodist Church. The sermon, which will be presented by Pastor Raymond W. Amos, Sr., is based on Gen. 3: 1-7.
Morning worship will begin at 9:55 a.m. Sunday School follows at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Life Lessons will be held at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Lynn Valley
Lynn Valley Baptist Church will host the “Extreme Kids” Music Camp the week of July 16-20. The camp is for children ages three through sixth grade, and classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day.
