Willow Springs
Willow Springs Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School beginning Monday, June 25, and continuing through June 29. Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. each day.

Other worship times at the church include Sunday School at 10 a.m., worship services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study at 7 p.m.

Borderview
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, will host its 29th Annual God and Country Day on Sunday, July 1.
The morning worship at 10:45 a.m. will feature veteran recognition and an adult choir musical, “Stars and Strips Forever.” A community block party is planned for the afternoon, which begins with inflatables for the kids at 5 p.m., followed by a free barbeque, chicken, or hotdog supper at 6 p.m. Dessert will be ice cream sundaes at 7 p.m. and a gospel concert by Greater Glory at 7:30 p.m.
The evening concludes with fireworks at dusk. All visitors and guests can register for door prizes to be drawn during the evening.
Everyone is invited to attend to celebrate our freedoms.

First Christian
Pantry Sunday will be observed Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton, when donations will be collected to stock the church’s community pantry.
Minister Michael Klaus will have the morning message and Gene Estep will have special music. The communion meditation will be given by Randy Brockley. Sharen Taylor will read scripture.
The worship service will begin at 9:45 a.m. followed by Bible School at 11 a.m.
The evening service is at 7 p.m. Mike Luzzader, Director of the ETSU Christian House, will speak. There will also be classes for the children and youth.
The Tuesday morning prayer group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary. The group is led by John Smith.

First Presbyterian
The Rev. David Prentice-Hyers will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton.
An Education Hour will begin at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon; and yoga Friday at 10 a.m.
