City farmer’s market now underway

Historic Downtown Elizabethton will see an increase in foot traffic over the next four months with the start of the 2018 Downtown Elizabethton Farmer’s Market season.
The event will be held every Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. on the lawn of the Elizabethton Fire Station 1, located beside City Hall. Roughly 15 vendors were on site for the event as several local vendors had the opportunity to sell their products to the public. Several residents were able to take advantage of purchasing handmade items, produce and food items and were even treated to music, spearheaded by Blue River Studio. Entertainment opportunities are available for local artists who want to perform at the market.
