CCSO Police Beats for 05-30-2018

The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
• John Grindstaff, 30, 235 H. Heaton Road, Elizabethton, was arrested May 24 by CCSO Deputy Christopher Peek and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
• Derrick Hensley, 33, 1968 Milligan Highway, No. 4, Elizabethton, was arrested May 24 by CCSO Deputy Daniel Kneaskern and charged with domestic assault.
• Peggy Bowling, 55, 406 Cottonwood Lane, Piney Flats, was arrested May 25 by CCSO Deputy Robert Hughes and charged with being a fugitive from justice out of Virginia.
• Scott Storie, 54, 227 Lovers Lane, Elizabethton, was arrested May 26 by CCSO Deputy Johnathan Simerly and charged with driving on a suspended license, violation of the financial responsibility law, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
• Michael Moore, 60, 247 Reynolds Road, Elizabethton, was arrested May 26 on a warrant charging him with filing a false report.
• Phillip Hileman, 39, 1642 Dennis Cove Road, Hampton, was arrested May 28 by CCSO Lt. Derrick Hamm on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault.
• Terry Murphy, 32, 7380 Plateau Road, Crossville, was arrested May 27 by CCSO Deputy Cody James and charged with public intoxication.
• Carmen Garland, 32, 1437 Pemont St., Johnson City, was arrested May 27 by CCSO Deputy Cody James on a warrant charging her with the sale of Schedule II drugs.
• Gary Townsend, 48, 102 Berry Hill Road, Elizabethton, was arrested May 29 by deputies of the CCSO on an indictment charging him with the sale of counterfeit controlled substances.
