Weekend of Worship: Tri-Cities joins together for Will Graham Celebration
Published 7:02 pm Sunday, May 6, 2018
For one weekend, thousands of residents all across Northeast Tennessee were able to come together for one common purpose.
“Praise and Worship.”
Freedom Hall in Johnson City was bustling with foot traffic last weekend during the Tri-Cities Will Graham Celebration. Over the course of three days, attendees were able to participate in different religious-based activities free of charge as a way to celebrate and continually promote outreach within the community.
Since 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has held crusades to proclaim God’s love to people who need it.
Will spent time during the event to address attendees but a variety of musical talent graced the stage. Various artists that participated in the event included Aaron Shust, The Adoration Band, The Moore Brothers, Crowder, April Taylor Barnes, Ellie Holcomb and Jennifer Trent.
During the course of the event, several residents took to social media to proclaim their joy and excitement from the weekend. Included are photos that readers have submitted from the celebration. Visit tcr.billygraham.org to learn more about the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
