Red Chili moves to Bonnie Kate Theater

One popular downtown Elizabethton restaurant has moved its location.

Red Chili, a Korean-style restaurant and perennial mainstay in Elizabethton, officially moved operation to the Bonnie Kate Theater building, located at 115 S. Sycamore St. in Historic Downtown Elizabethton, on Thursday, May 3, much to the delight of the public.

Owner Minae Ward and staff were able to welcome in patrons throughout the day with their popular dishes. The new location of the restaurant allows for more seating to serve an already expansive clientele. Hours of operation are Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The restaurant is also open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Red Chili’s move to the theater is just another way the Bonnie Kate Board is hoping to expand services of the facility. The Bonnie Kate has been a hub of recent community events, including theatrical and musical performances, community gatherings and movie showings. The Bonnie Kate is offering different activities to raise funds for different necessities.
