Cyclones blast past Volunteer, 15-1

The Cyclones scored in every at-bat Friday as they stormed past Volunteer, 15-1, at Joe O’Brien Field in nonconference action.

Elizabethton was on fire at the plate as it recorded 15 hits on the day. Elizabethton’s Evan Carter finished going 3-of-3 with two RBIs and a home run. Carter also had three runs on the day. EHS’s Ryan Wetzel and Logan Estep each finished with two hits and two RBIs each. Cyclones Corey Russell made his one hit count as he turned it into an inside-the-park home run while bringing in Carter.

Elizabethton got four innings of work out Cyclones Colten Miller who finished with three strikeouts. He had two hits and one run against him as he picked up the win.
