The search for Elizabethton’s newest city manager is nearing a conclusion.
City of Elizabethton Mayor Curt Alexander confirmed to the Elizabethton Star that the search is down to four candidates. Two candidates have been interviewed this week and the remaining candidates are expected to be interviewed next week.
Alexander added the hope is to have the approval of a new city manager on the agenda for the May City Council meeting.
The final four candidates for the position include:
- Jon Hartman – Elizabethton City Manager Pro Tem
- Daniel Estes – Assistant Town Administrator of Collierville
- Emily Wood – Church Hill City Recorder
- Glenn Rosenoff – Town of Erwin City Recorder
The position of city manager became vacant following Jerome Kitchens resignation from the post in April. More information on the search will appear in the Friday print edition of the Elizabethton Star.
